The Signal
The Vein had always been there, a current of emerald energy running beneath every frontier, dormant, waiting for a new world to wake it. For a long time, nothing did.
Then a new frontier lit up. The Vein surged again, not in some ruined past, but here, now, at the edge of territory that is only beginning to glow. The signal is still faint. The maps are unwritten. The ground is wide open. Most haven't even noticed.
VORYN are the ones who arrived first. Surveyors, relic-hunters, and explorers who read the pulse before the crowd and staked a claim at the frontier's edge. Each relic recovered is proof of arrival, the first artifacts a living frontier yields to those early enough to find them.
